This is the top group of the Gorzycki Orchestra Program. This group is designed for students who have 2 or more years of instruction. Both Chamber and Concert level orchestra compete in UIL, Solo and Ensemble, and a variety of music festivals. If you are new to Gorzycki and want to skip the beginning orchestra level, please contact Mrs. Dickey to schedule an audition.

Intermezzo Orchestra These are our intermediate groups of the Gorzycki Orchestra Program. This group is designed for students who have 1 year of instruction, maybe have had multiple years of instruction, took and break, and want to get back into playing. Chamber, Concert, and Intermezzo level orchestras compete in UIL, Solo and Ensemble, and a variety of music festivals. If you are new to Gorzycki and want to skip the beginning orchestra level, please contact Mrs. Dickey to schedule an audition.

Sub Non-VarsityBeginning
Interested in learning how to play violin, viola, cello or bass? This class is for you! Most 6th graders start orchestra without knowing how to play an instrument or how to even read music. Beginner orchestra is open to any student who has never played violin, viola, cello, or bass but wants to learn. We will learn how to hold, take care of, and play our instruments, as well as, learn how to read music and then translate it into our performances.
